Living with Autism requires understanding and support. One tool is to discover insights and techniques others found helpful. Sharing of experiences covers what helped, what didn’t, and why. Conversations are wide ranging – from acquiring verbal skills to effectively dealing with school bullying; from better understanding medical ‘speak’ to tips on activities and interaction methods that worked for a parent.
Sharing information is the basis of an active, living and breathing support system for the autistic individual, parents, family, teachers, and friends. We all need it – and we all have something to contribute. Let’s get talking and sharing.
